TRANSITION OF A BELOVED

When our loved one’s spirit and soul leaves his or her body, the spirit does go towards the light and passes through the tunnel, to be greeted by God’s Keepers as  well as their own loved ones who have passed on before them.  While in the spirit world, they are totally aware of our activities, our anguish, and the love that we have for them.  They themselves do not feel pain or anguish for they realize those emotions we are experiencing as a part of life are temporal and transitory.  They understand those emotions are emanating from our love and not from our fear, hostility or lack of caring.

Every human emotion we experience has an impact on our soul; and they know that the sorrow of missing our loved one’s company is not a negative emotion, but instead is emanating from love.  But for the loved one who is now in spirit, they are in God’s Light.  They are experiencing joy, happiness, serenity and are basking in the universal consciousness of God’s Love.

While they appreciate the feeling that we have for them, emanating from what we call “our loss”, they do not want us to feel despair, do not want us to hurt, do not want us to be in grief.  If they were able to talk directly to you, they would say, “Please understand that I am not experiencing pain, not experiencing sadness, not experiencing anxieties.  I AM IN ECSTACY.  I AM IN BLISS.  I am joyful and grateful for your love; but also for the knowledge that I am now at home with God.  Know that I love you; and  I know of the love that you have for me. I shall be with you often.”

At times you will feel your loved one’s presence.  They may come to you in your dreams, and during your meditations.  They know they are in your thoughts and your prayers.  But the most important thing you should know, is that your loved one wants you to enjoy life..  The greatest gift you can give to them is to continue on, loving them, missing them; but to allow their love to be an inspiration to you; and through that love, to enjoy life every moment, and to let others enjoy life through you.

If instead, your  love for them is reflected in despair, gloom, and a sadness, and you no longer find joy in the gift of experiencing life in the physical world,  you are not honoring their love as they would want you to.  No one that loves another, wants that love to cause discomfort and heartache to the person they love.  And so it is with your loved one that has left the physical world and now resides in “spirit”.  Honor their memory.  Treasure your memories.  Know that they are still with you, and live life to the fullest, because that is their wish; and that is the most precious way that you can show your love for them.

There are times in our lives when we will find our loved ones in pain or suffering caused from disease, sickness or accident.  Even though we pray for their survival, often times they will have their spirit and soul leave their body and go into “spirit.”  It is important that you understand, no matter how difficult it may be to understand, that death is the ultimate healing.  When the body is in so much pain, discomfort and  experiencing the greatest hardship in functioning, regardless of the cause of that hardship; the ultimate healing is the spirit leaving the body.
